Military shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm arrives on consoles next week, so there’s a launch trailer to mark the occasion.

The tactical co-op shooter originally launched on PC in 2018 and sees players in close-quarters combat. Skills and teamwork will be reward, with realism being the order of the day. Boasting “a hardcore depiction of combat with deadly ballistics, light attack vehicles, destructive artillery” expect death to come thick fast.

Character and weapon customisation will help you make your solider stand out, with options for clothing, uniforms, accessories and character voices. You’ll have to peek around doorways, tactically breach doorways and use the game’s detailed audio design to get the drop on your foes.

There’s seven different game modes to keep yourself busy with both PvP and co-op modes on offer. Those who pick up the game’s Deluxe Edition will also get the Year 1 pass with 16 cosmetic sets. Alternatively, the Gold Edition gets you that plus the Year 2 pass with 16 more items over the next twelve months.

Check out the trailer for yourself below. Insurgency: Sandstorm lands on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 29. A free update is also promised in 2022 adding support for additional Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 features.
