Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare developer Infinity Ward's Los Angeles HQ was yesterday evacuated due to a bomb threat, reports Kotaku.

One employee told the site that police arrived at the studio requesting that people evacuate the building yesterday morning, which staff were able to do without any issues. Activision hasn't commented on the news at the time of writing.

The bomb threat comes following a number of similar incidents across the US, with NBC reporting there have been 'at least two dozen threats' recorded in Los Angeles alone. An email sent with the threat demanded a ransom of $20,000 in Bitcoin.

Other areas targeted include New York, Oklahoma City, and Washington DC.
