Battlefield 3 will see a massive and highly-anticipated patch on PlayStation 3 tomorrow, developer DICE confirmed over the weekend.

The patch's main new feature is the ability to rent your own dedicated server, which was revealed at GDC last month. Other changes include players getting up quicker from the prone state, and furthering the effect of the game's suppression mechanic while giving a boost to accuracy when moving.

PlayStation 3 players can also disable antialiasing in the game to reduce input lag.

There are hundreds of other changes, though none of them have made Operation Metro not awful: see DICE's full patch notes for details.

PC and Xbox 360 versions of the patch are expected to follow shortly.
