Of course, stream sniping doesn’t have to be the only reason to watch a player. Sometimes you might wonder how your friends are playing. Or you might want to see how good the player who killed you is.
Most of the time, though, it’s because you want to watch a stranger who you say is “clearly cheating.” Whatever the reason, spectating is fun in games. And it’s no different in Fortnite.

How to Spectate Other Players in Fortnite
As with almost all Battle Royale games, you can no longer watch strangers in Fortnite. Since Epic Games removed the Watch Game feature, there’s only one way to watch other players.
That means you actually have to play a match and get eliminated.
If you’re playing alone, you can watch the players who killed you right after, or after your entire team is eliminated if you’re playing as a team.
The funny thing about this method, which may sound familiar to you from Warzone 2, is that if the player you’re watching has also been eliminated, you automatically watch the person who finished him.
It’s like watching Hunger Games for the first time at the cinema!
How to Spectate Friends in Fortnite
If you want to see how hard your friends are struggling who started playing without waiting for you, don’t worry, you can still spectate your friends in Fortnite.
You can also ask them to stream for you on Discord, but the in-game solution is faster.
All you need to do is to be in the same lobby as them. Join your friends’ lobby and then start watching their games.
You’ve 30 seconds to think about what you’re going to say when they die before you start watching. Because you won’t be able to see them on the battle bus.
