The massive player appeal and consistent content stream of Destiny 2 are some of the main reasons why it remains one of the most popular multiplayer FPS titles currently in the market. This is also primarily why new players are always joining the ever-growing population of Bungie’s creation.

Unfortunately, those recently joining the game will naturally have missed out on past content delivered through previous expansions. For this reason, many are now wondering how they can get rare vaulted weapons that were exclusive to some of the last chapters. If this is a question that’s been on your mind, then you’ve come to the right place.

Here’s how you can get vaulted gear in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2

You’ll be able to get vaulted Legendary and Exotic weapons in Destiny 2 by heading to the Monument to Lost Lights at the Tower. This structure can be found situated at the wall on the right side of the landing area sitting between two Vault Terminals.

Once there, simply interact with it and it should then bring up a page that contains icons for both Exotic and Legendary Gear. The gold-colored icons contain all of the exclusive Exotic equipment that were obtainable in past expansions. On the other hand, the single purple-colored icon includes rare Legendary gear that were only available in previous chapters.

Keep in mind, though, that you will have to use up a significant amount of your resources if you want to get these items. For Exotic weapons, you will typically need to use up at least one Exotic Cipher, 100,00 Glimmer, 150 Legendary Shards, and one Ascendant Shard. Legendary weapons, on the other hand, will require at least 75,000 Glimmer, 100 Legendary Shards, two Enhancement Prisms, and one Ascendant Shard.

What expansion comes after Lightfall?

The next expansion that will come after Lightfall is temporarily being called The Final Shape. It will apparently serve as the final expansion of The Light and Darkness Saga, which means that the final battle between the Guardians and the Witness is set to take place during it. It will most likely be released in 2024 as each major expansion tends to last for over a year.

Unfortunately, it’s currently unclear what Bungie’s plan are after they’ve finished the latest story line of Destiny 2. However, we expect that they will most likely be exploring new universes and unfamiliar characters once they’ve decided to announce their plans.
