One particular problem that has become prevalent is the in-game audio cutting out constantly. This is often a noticeable glitch especially in multiplayer lobbies as players often rely on sound cues to located opponents. Luckily, we’re here to provide a few methods on how to fix this complication whenever it pops up.

How to Fix Warzone Caldera Audio Cutting Out?

The first method you can use to fix this issue is by directly checking the Sound settings on your system. If you’re playing on PC, you can access it by right-clicking the Sound icon on your task bar and selecting Open Sound Settings. Then, you’ll need to check the Output device to make sure that it’s connected to the right hardware.

If you play on console, you can check your in-game Sound settings instead by pressing Options and selecting the Audio category. You will then need to look for the field that says Speakers/Headphone Game Sound Device and make sure that your preferred hardware is selected.

If the previous methods didn’t work, you can also try repairing your game’s files for those playing on PC. For Battle.net players, go to your Game Library and select the Modern Warfare icon. Then, click on the Gear symbol next to the Play button and press Scan and Repair. Restart the client afterwards for it to take effect.

For Steam users, you’ll also need to head over to your Library and right-click on the game title. Then, select Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the process to finish and then restart the client.

On the other hand, console users can instead check if Warzone Caldera currently has any updates in place. This can be done by heading to your Library and locating the Modern Warfare title. You’ll then need to highlight it, press the Options button, and select Check for Updates.

If none of the above fixes work, then you may have to reinstall your game in order to get rid of the issue. Users have reported using this specific process and it immediately resulted in the issue being removed afterwards.
