Ubisoft has released a range of comparison shots highlighting the differences between the original PlayStation Vita version of Assassin's Creed Liberation and next week's HD re-release.

The three shots appear to show significant differences between the two versions, including major improvements made to character models, lighting and textures. One shot in particular also appears to show additional environmental detail in the HD version, with extra assets placed in the backdrop.

Assassin's Creed Liberation HD launches on PSN, XBLA and PC next Wednesday, January 15 for £15.99.
