Hitman: Contracts has finally crept onto Steam after years of being unavailable on the platform.
Contracts was the only Hitman title to go without a digital release on Valve’s marketplace owing to licensing issues with one of the game’s tracks. But Dualshockers spotted it on the service this morning, where PC gamers can download it for £4.99.
Square Enix has not publicly announced the game’s Steam launch or commented on whether the offending track has been removed.
Hitman: Contracts is the third game in the Hitman series and follows Agent 47 through a series of flashbacks as he relives some of his previous missions. It was also included in last year’s Xbox 360 and PS3 release Hitman: HD Trilogy.
The next Hitman title is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
