The next monthly Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond is almost here, coming just weeks after the Polar Patriots Warbond was released to much disappointment from the community as it failed to utilize the ice theme in its weapons or armor. Despite Arrowhead Game Studios stating that they were going to slow down and ensure they focus on quality over quantity, a new Warbond is right around the corner. Here is everything you need to know.
Sony announced in a blog post that the new Helldivers 2 Viper Commandos Warbond will be coming to the game on June 13th. As with the previous Warbonds, Viper Commandos will cost 1,000 Super Credits. These can be acquired in-game by finding them in missions, Trivial missions are great for this, or they can be purchased from the in-game Store.
Viper Commandos is a jungle-themed Warbond that has a Predator vibe to it. This is a stark contrast to the ice-themed Polar Patriots Warbond from last month. There are fewer weapons and armor included this time, with just one Primary and one Secondary weapon as opposed to three of each. But, Viper Commandos sees the addition of vehicle skins for the first time, adding a new customizable option to the game.
