Helldivers 2 has been played by millions since its launch last year, and the developer has big plans for 2025. The next crossover Warbond might have already leaked, meanwhile, more late-game progression is on the way to add extra content for players. While we are waiting for new content to arrive, Arrowhead has just shared some shocking Helldivers 2 stats that reveal the most deadly enemies, sheer incompetence of teammates, and much more.
New Helldivers 2 stats
On X, Arrowhead has shared the following stats for Helldivers 2:
- 83 million deaths by squids
- 1.2 billion deaths by bots
- 1.5 billion deaths by bugs
- 3.7 billion Eagles deployed
- 4.9 million friendly mine launcher kills
- 38.5 million deaths by friendly fire
- 280 billion total kills
- 1 billion 500K bombs dropped
- 275 million hugs delivered
There is the disclaimer that the above stats were accurate as of January 31st 2025, which inevitably means more Super Earth soldiers have fallen in the battlefield while more enemies have been defeated, too.
Looking at the stats, bugs are the most deadly enemy in the game right now, which is surprising considering how much more vocal the community is about bots. While the enemies are a powerful force, sometimes a teammate with poor aim can be just as deadly as shown through 38.5 million deaths by friendly fire.
While teammates can be your worst enemy in disguise, they can also be your biggest bro as illustrated by the 275 million hugs. Every soldier deserves a hug, so make sure to hug your comrade when next on the battlefield.
The total amount of 280 billion kills by players is extremely impressive, and here’s aiming for 500 billion. There will be more new content to keep players fighting the war, and we can’t wait to see updates to these stats from Arrowhead in the future.
