Helldivers 2 players say this Booster is “underrated on harder levels”

Choosing the right booster to use in your Helldivers 2 missions can be the difference between success and failure and many people often overlook them. When part of a team, each booster affects all players, which can add some great perks to help you defeat the Automatons and Terminids. There is one booster that often gets overlooked, and I only just realized I didn’t even own it, and that is the Localization Confusion booster, which could become a key part of your loadout for future defense missions.

U/luizzifoshizzi took to Reddit to praise the Localization Confusion booster, calling it their favorite booster. This booster “increases the time between enemy encounters,” which makes defense missions easier due to fewer enemy drops, making it easier to not become overwhelmed.

“Increasing the time between encounters and the ability to have time to refocus after BLITZKRIEG is awesome. I would always get overwhelmed when I went up in difficulty, between calling in reinforcements to Stratagems or even high-caliber weaponry. Might be one of my favorite boosters in harder levels.”

U/Zakkren praised the booster noting that it can “cause you to go long periods of time without any enemies appearing,” but also that “every time a missile launches there’s a forced spawn there and the booster doesn’t affect that.”

U/footdiveXFfootdive stated that it is an essential booster when doing defense missions saying, “This booster replaces the stamina booster when we do defend missions. We don’t need the stamina when we hold our ground so much. And you definitely notice this booster when we shoot down a couple of drop ships and then just stand there for a minute waiting for the next ones. It’s a night and day difference.”

When playing solo, the Localization Confusion booster may not be the ideal choice due to others providing much more immediate benefits, but when part of a team this looks to be one of the essential boosters one of the party should be choosing. Currently, there is no Major Order ongoing and no planets needing defending, but that will soon change so you will be able to try out the booster soon enough.
