The latest Helldivers 2 Major Order is a massive task for players of Arrowhead’s frantic multiplayer game. In fact, the huge task given to the game’s dedicated community has been deemed an “unwinnable battle” by players, but the soldiers of Super Earth aren’t giving up yet.

Just days before the spooky holiday of Halloween, players are diving into battles with WW1-era rifles to take out tanks. However, the trusty Constitution Rifle may not be enough to fulfill Super Earth’s latest demands.

Helldivers 2 players slammed with Major Order

The current Major Order for Helldivers 2 tasks players with defending five Automaton attacks on occupied territories, hold Gacrux and Pandion XXIV, and liberate Matar Bay. With just six days to do all of these tasks, players are swamped

“Multiple strategic priorities have arisen, all of high priority,” the Major Order reads. “Decryption of confidential data recovered from Automaton Strongholds has identified a high-security database, thought to contain key intel regarding the Jet Brigade.

Simultaneously, recent Terminid activity has exposed the Terminid Research Preserve to threat of external disruption. This security breach must be rectified immediately. Finally, we have reason to believe the Automatons are planning an imminent territorial expansion. We cannot allow the Automatons to expand their territory further.”

Players are convinced that the latest masochistic Major Order is a bid by Arrowhead to hit its soldiers with a devastating failure. With the Democracy Space Station still in construction before the arrival of the Truth Enforcers Warbond, this new Warbond’s release date may even help players turn the tide right at the end.

An impossible fight?

Following the arrival of the new Helldivers 2 Major Order, fans have complained about the huge mission they have ahead of them. One player responding to the Order’s announcement on Twitter called it an “impossible battle” that can’t be completed even if every player beelined objectives, but other players are still excited to prove their worth.

“That’s ambitious, but we Helldivers can come together for it,” one player said. “Question is … .Helldivers, can we do all these objectives? I’ll only take one answer: HELL YEAH!” said another.

With five days left on the clock, Matar Bay is already more than 37% liberated by players, so things are looking good. However, as the Automaton forces and Terminid scourge continue their fight against Super Earth, can Divers hold the line?
