Helldivers 2 recently received update 01.003.103, and this delivered a bountiful of nerfs for the Illuminate as well as some important fixes. There will be more updates from Arrowhead as they continue to support HD2, and the developer has confirmed that they are now looking to fix one of the most frustrating delayed mechanics in Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2 dev confirms fix for delayed mechanic
One of the most frustrating banes in the backside of Super Earth soldiers has been the delay for stims. Complaints about delays for stims date back as far as a year ago, and it’s something the community has almost always had an issue with.
Thankfully, the developer is now looking to fix the problem. YouTuber, Cloud Plays, was recently reached out to by Arrowhead community manager, miitchimus. The community manager reached out to the YouTuber for “some info on the stim delay… [as] One of the devs is looking into it after your [Cloud Plays’] video”.
The video referred to was Cloud Plays’ reaction to the update 01.003.103 patch notes. In this video, Cloud Plays said, “The only thing I need you to address now, Arrowhead, is stim delay… my good lord, it’s not a bug. Just change it, man. The stim delay is getting so frustrating against ragdolling”.
After getting in contact, miitchimus gave Cloud Plays Arrowhead’s blessing to share that the developer is “looking into” fixing the issue. There’s no ETA on when the delay will be fixed, but hopefully it can be done as soon as possible.
