Halo 4 has become the top-selling Microsoft Studios title of all time in the US, surpassing previous best-seller Halo 3.
Though the latest sales figures for 343’s sci-fi shooter have yet to be released, Halo 4 racked up record sales of $220m on its launch day last November, going on to sell around 4m copies worldwide by Christmas.
The game was also awarded VideoGamer.com’s prestigious Game of the Year 2012 Award.
The next title in the series is currently in development for Xbox One.
