God of War and Avengers: Infinity War both draw inspiration from Norse mythology, so it's only natural that the two worlds would collide at some point, right? Well, they have, and while we're sadly not able to see Kratos rocking out to Star Lord's 80s playlist, he does get his hands on something that clearly doffs its cap to the film's resident Big Bad, Thanos.

Players are able to pick up the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages, which apart from being an obvious homage to the Mad Titan's fancy power glove actually works as a weapon. Kratos is able to collect six enchantments that reference another key Avengers plot device, the Infinity Stones, three of which can be attached to the gauntlet allowing you to duff up baddies by shooting purple beams out of your meaty fist.

You can check out a video below of Kratos brandishing the gauntlet below, although be warned, it does contain spoilers for those who have not yet played God of War. And if you haven't, pop on over to our review instead and find out why you really, really should.
