Bethesda has announced that supernatural action game Ghostwire: Tokyo will be released on March 25.

The publisher has declared that it’ll be holding an official showcase for the PlayStation 5 console exclusive this evening. A description, found at the bottom of the YouTube video, proudly announced the date to fans. It reads “Face the unknown in Ghostwire: Tokyo, launching March 25, 2022 on PlayStation 5.”

Said description also gave us a little more insight into the game’s plot, including the name of our protagonist. “In an instant, nearly all of Tokyo’s population vanishes and paranormal Visitors from another world take their place in the streets. As Akito, one of the city’s last living humans, you must join forces with a spirit named KK to put an end to the supernatural threat encroaching on Tokyo.”

Presumably then, tonight we’ll get to see some specific gameplay, and give us an idea what to expect next month. In case you’re not up to speed, the game is coming from Tango Gameworks, previously responsible for The Evil Within.

We’ll get to find out more when the showcase kicks off tonight at 10pm UK time in the video embed below or on PlayStation’s YouTube channel. Ghostwire: Tokyo will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC on March 25.
