GAME expects to sell out of its entire launch allocation of Wii U hardware prior to November 30, a spokesperson for the retailer has told VideoGamer.com.

Responding to a question asking whether the retailer expects to sell through its launch day allocation of the Black Wii U Premium Console SKU and Black Wii U Premium Console with ZombiU SKU ahead of release day, GAME replied, “Yes”.

It continued: “Nintendo have advised, ‘Wii U stock levels will be tight on day one, however we will be providing retailers with regular stock deliveries in the run up to Christmas in order to meet demand as quickly as possible.'”

The retailer already appears to have sold through its launch day allocation of the white Wii U Basic Console. The console is no longer available to order through GAME’s website.

When asked why, GAME told VideoGamer.com: “We have pre-ordered our launch allocation of White Wii U hardware,” suggesting that all stock of the White console may have already been snapped up.

It added that it did not know whether the reported launch day figure of 25,000 units in the UK was correct, but said that it was “very” confident that those who have already pre-ordered a console would receive one on launch day.

GAME revealed its Wii U bundle deals last week.

Wii U launches in the UK on November 30. Nintendo has already pledged to provide retailers with “regular stock deliveries” of the console in the run-up to Christmas.
