Digital Jesters announced yesterday that they have entered into a deal with French outfit Focus Home Interactive to co-publish Irrational’s highly anticipated sequel to Freedom Force, due in Q2 2005.

The game, a hybrid RPG/RTS combination, allows players to take control of a team of superheroes with various powers to fight the evils of the world. Using the same comic-book style that proved successful the first-time around, the team have to travel back in time and battle The Third Reich. The sequel promises new heroes and villains with new powers to utilise, along with a new story and a new game engine behind it. More information can be found on the newly-launched website.
