Epic Games is collaborating with The Walking Dead to bring more Fortnite skins. This time, Negan, one of the most popular characters from the comic book and series, is coming to the game. The skin was added with the latest update, and fortunately, its release date has already been leaked.
If you want to know more details about the upcoming collaboration, we will reveal everything that has been leaked so far.
When will the Negan skin come to Fortnite?
Fortnite already has a couple of skins from The Walking Dead. Rick Grimes, the protagonist of the franchise, was first added in October 2020. Later on, Epic Games added Michonne and Daryl Dixon, who’s also been very popular. Now, it’s time to add another iconic character with the release of Negan. Besides the skin, Negan will also get his own bat in Fortnite.
Thanks to several reputable leakers, including Shiina, we now know the release date of Negan in Fortnite. The popular character will come to the game on Friday, April 4. At the moment, it’s unknown how much the skin will cost. However, judging by the previous The Walking Dead cosmetics, we expect the cost to be between 1,500 and 1,800 V-Bucks.

The upcoming collaboration will also bring two items: Shiva Shotgun and Lucille, Negan’s iconic bat. However, it’s currently unknown if these items will be available in the Battle Royale mode or only in Creative. Furthermore, these items may come out before April 4, as cosmetics and gameplay items have a different release schedule.
With the collaboration around the corner, we will likely find out more information about it soon. The design of Negan’s Fortnite skin hasn’t been revealed yet either, although the skin should be decrypted on April 2 or 3.
