V-Bucks are the premium currency in Fortnite that is used to purchase cosmetic items. While Epic Games releases free V-Bucks every season, the only sustainable way to get them is by buying them for real money. As a free game, Fortnite relies on microtransactions, and so far, they have been nothing but amazing for the company.
The prices of V-Bucks change from time to time. The last adjustment was made in October 2024, as six countries were affected by the new pricing. In three countries, Epic made V-Bucks cheaper, while the currency became more expensive in the other three. Interestingly, anyone can purchase V-Bucks at more affordable prices now, but only for a limited time.

Amazon is running a special promotion for Prime members, and you can use it to buy V-Bucks at discounted prices. This is a Prime-only discount, but if you don’t have a subscription, you can get a free trial from Amazon. Once you make a purchase, you will receive a V-Bucks gift card that you can redeem in less than a minute.
Each gift card is discounted by 10%, and you can apply it to your Fortnite account regardless of the platform you play on.

It’s important to note that you can also purchase and apply V-Bucks gift cards if your Fortnite account is in another region. However, many regions have cheaper V-Bucks than the United States, so the price might be too high. On the other hand, if you are a European player who pays €8.99 ($9.44) for 1,000 V-Bucks, you will effectively get a 14.3% discount instead of a flat 10%.
This discount lasts for a limited time, so make sure to use it to your advantage. With Fortnite Chapter 6 coming out on December 1, you may want to purchase extra V-Bucks for the next Battle Pass.
