The next Fortnite season will come out in less than a month, and we already know a few details about it. As previously leaked, this will be another OG Season. However, Epic Games will bring back Chapter 2 this time, allowing veteran players to relive their memories. On top of this, the game developer revealed another big change that is coming next month.
The next season will remove one big feature from the game, as well as the free rewards that come with it. Due to this, make sure to unlock these free cosmetics before they expire, as they will become very rare in the future.
You won’t be able to unlock this free Fortnite item starting with next season
Back in Chapter 4 Season 4, Epic Games added Survivor Quests to Fortnite. These are progressive quests you can complete to unlock the Prized Llama back bling for free. The cosmetic item has several rarities, and unlocking the Mythic one requires you to bring your A game. Unfortunately, Survivor quests will be removed next season, Epic recently announced on X (formerly Twitter).
Heads Up– the Survivor Medal meta quests (and the opportunity to earn corresponding rewards through those quests) will conclude with the release of our v32.00 game update.
Epic Games
Because of this change, you will not be able to unlock the Prize Llama back bling once Season 4 ends. As a result, this will be one of the rarest items in the future, especially its higher rarities, such as Legendary and Mythic. Unlocking these rarities is a difficult task, but thankfully, this can be easily done in Fortnite bot lobbies.
The next season is scheduled to start on November 2, 2024. Until then, Epic will likely reveal even more changes that will come with it, including the next Battle Pass.
