With the new season that launched on Saturday, the Fortnite developer added lots of new content. From new items to map changes, the game once again feels fresh and new. Epic Games also added a new chest, which is mostly a secret. This chest takes 10 minutes to open, and if you get lucky, you might get amazing loot from it.
Opening the new Fortnite chest is quite tricky. Not only does it take half of a match, but it’s also located in the center of the island. If you have 10 spare minutes, you should definitely go for it and see how lucky you get!
Where to find the Suitcase of Patience in Fortnite?
Suitcase of Patience is a new chest added in Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 3. While other chests take approximately a second to open, this one takes exactly 10 minutes. It’s located just northeast of Foxy Floodgate, which allows it to stay in the safe zone for at least three circles. However, its perfect central location also makes it challenging to open.
While you won’t have to worry about the storm while opening it, other players will certainly be a problem. If you stop interacting with the chest, the entire progress will reset, and you’ll have to start over again. This means that if an enemy player attacks you, your progress will reset to zero if you defend yourself.
If you manage to open the chest, you may get amazing loot, but you may also get basic items. While it does seem that it always drops high-quality loot of Epic (Purple) or higher rarity, you are not guaranteed to get Legendary items from it. Due to this, open it at your own risk, and make sure you have a couple of teammates to watch your back!
