Fortnite reveals return date of Street Fighter skins

Street Fighter skins are finally coming back to Fortnite! In May, Epic Games updated these skins, hinting at their return in the near future. The game developer confirmed the unvaulting of skins on Thursday night, and the return is just around the corner!

If you’ve been looking to grab Chun-Li, Ryu, or any other Street Fighter skin, you will soon get a chance to do so. These are among the rarest skins in Fortnite, as they were last seen in August 2022.

When will Street Fighter skins return to Fortnite?

Epic Games will bring back all Street Fighter skins in Fortnite on Friday night. More specifically, the skins will be available at the Item Shop reset at midnight 8 AM Eastern Time (midnight UTC). Each skin costs 1,600 V-Bucks and comes in at least two styles. On top of this, we expect Epic to release new bundles for every skin, as well as bundles that include multiple skins.

At the moment, there are six Street Fighter skins in the game:

  • Chun-Li
  • Ryu
  • Sakura
  • Blanka
  • Cammy
  • Guile

Unfortunately, the latest Fortnite update did not include any new skins from this franchise, so it’s unlikely that new cosmetics will be added soon.

At the moment, it’s unknown how long these skins will stay in the shop, although they should be available for at least three days. These skins are among the rarest skins in Fortnite, and fourth-rarest skins among Gaming Legends, trailing only Kratos and Arcane skins. However, this will change in just a couple of hours, as they will become quite common.
