Fortnite leak shows details about Reload Solo game mode

Fortnite Reload has attracted millions of players since its release in June 2024. When it first came out, it only had a Squads playlist. However, Epic Games quickly added a Duos mode as well, and it appears that a Solo playlist is in the works as well. Considering that Reload relies on having more than one person in a team, it will be interesting to see how the game developer will change it.

According to the latest leak, Epic already has a great plan to make Reload Solo work. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Fortnite Reload Solo mode could come out very soon

Unlike Fortnite Battle Royale, Reload offers multiple lives to players. As long as one member of the team is alive, the other members can respawn infinitely until a certain point in the match. Because of this, many Fortnite players thought that having a Solo playlist in Reload would be impossible. However, Epic Games has a plan on how to make it work.

Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey recently revealed a few details regarding this game mode. The veteran leaker claims that Reload players would have more than one life in the Solo playlist. These extra lives, however, wouldn’t be granted immediately. Instead, players would get an extra life or every elimination they get throughout the match.

We still don’t have all the details, so we’ll have to wait for a bit longer to check how this mode would work. However, all remaining players would likely run out of extra lives once the respawn timer ends, effectively turning the end game into a battle royale match. Considering that this is the case in Duos and Squads, Epic doesn’t need to change anything about it.

The release date of Fortnite Reload Solo is currently unknown, but it may arrive with the release of the next OG season in early November.
