Fortnite Reload has gained a lot of popularity since its release in late June 2024. The game mode brought back many iconic places from Chapter 1, which turned out to be a recipe for success. Thanks to its popularity, Epic Games will keep developing the mode and adding new content for it. Right now, you can also play a Fortnite Reload Chapter 2 map, although there is a twist.
With a new Fortnite season coming on August 16, we expect a lot more content coming to Reload. However, if you can’t wait for it and want something different, you can try out a Chapter 2 map in the Reload style.
How to play the Chapter 2 map in Fortnite Reload?
Unlike the classic map in Fortnite Reload, the Chapter 2 island was not developed by Epic Games. Instead, you can play it in Creative, although it works perfectly fine. SuperJoy Studios, founded by Ali “SypherPK” Hassan, developed the map, and it’s been a huge hit so far. In the first 12 hours of release, tens of thousands of Fortnite players tried the map out.
On the first day, the Fortnite Reload Chapter 2 map peaked at 22,711 players, which is impressive. Considering how popular the team behind it is, we expect his number to further increase.
If you’d like to try out the new Fortnite map, you can do so with the following code: 0883-6447-8081. Considering that it has thousands of concurrent players at any given moment, you should have no problems matchmaking. For now, the map only supports Squads game mode and 32 players per lobby, but this may change in the future.
The map has new variants of iconic Fortnite Chapter 2 places, from Slurpy Swamp to Steamy Stacks. You can also visit a couple of places that had bosses in this chapter, like The Shark and The Agency. Since the map has become so popular, SypherPK and the rest of his team will likely keep developing it and adding more content every few weeks. In fact, the first patch is already on its way!
