Fortnite refund emails have been a popular topic over the past few weeks. They claim that players are eligible for a massive refund of $245 million, but that they have to perform a couple of actions to apply for it. Naturally, many players are skeptical and believe that this is a scam.

Considering how popular Fortnite is, it’s not a surprise that many players believe that this is a scam. After all, the game has many scams, from V-Bucks generators to fake skins. However, the good news is that the Fortnite refund email is not a scam.

This article will explain everything you need to know about the email and how you can get a refund from it.

Refund email comes from Fortnite Refund Administrator

Many refund-eligible players are wondering who the Fortnite Refund Administrator is. This is the person tasked with sending emails regarding Fortnite’s Federal Trade Commission (FTC) case. If your email came from the Fortnite Refund Administrator ([email protected]), then you’ve received a real email that shows your eligibility.

Please check the sender’s email address twice. It has to perfectly match the email address of the Fortnite Refund Administrator. If the email address is not identical, please ignore the email.

The Reddit post above shows an example of a Fortnite refund email. The email contains a lot of important details, including the deadline to apply and a refund link. To apply for the refund, you will have to use the claim number you received in the email.

The email is certainly not a scam. However, you need to apply for a refund as soon as possible. If you don’t do it by January 17, 2024, you will not receive any refund from Epic Games and Fortnite. Once you start the refund process, you will have to fill in more information, including your Epic Games ID.
