Fortnite summer event quests have been out for a week, yet some players still struggle to complete them. Epic Games has released many new challenges, allowing players to level up more than 10 times. On top of this, the quests grant new cosmetic items, which is a great bonus. Unfortunately, some of them seem to be too hard, which is something the community recently complained about.

The Fortnite summer event is rather small this year. While Epic will release more content later this month, including the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, players are stuck only with new quests for now.

Fortnite players are not too happy with victory quests

Summer event quests are quite generous, as they offer 25,000 XP each. On top of this, it’s possible to unlock three cosmetic items for free by completing them, including a fancy new glider. However, two of these quests require players to win a match, which seems to be a big issue. Reddit user Megazard02 recently brought this to attention, and many other Fortnite players chimed in.

The Fortnite player’s post received thousands of upvotes and hundreds of comments. “Alright Epic, what the sweat is this,” the Reddit user wrote, showing a screenshot of two quests that require a victory. To make things worse, the second quest requires a crowned victory, which is much tougher.

“It’s called All Sweat summer for a reason,” 360NoScoped_lol pointed out, referring to the name of the current summer event. “Thank god they’re optional,” MuscleManRule34 added, while many others said how difficult it is for them to get a victory, especially a crowned one.

TuneOut_1982 had a different take on the new Fortnite quests: “Luckily you can do other easy challenges, I believe there is 30 or more so getting the 20 done is just fine.” “If getting A WIN is ‘sweaty’ I have no idea why you’d be playing a PVP game,” DepressiveMiki added, shutting down other players’ complaints about the difficulty of these quests.

Some players are certainly skilled enough to finish these quests. However, they don’t think they will ever get a crowned victory again. “What a BS, I won a crowned victory yesterday and it’s rare for me to get it,” TheArgonianBoi77 wrote.

Fortunately, the first quest can be easily completed by entering a Fortnite bot lobby. However, crowns are not available in these lobbies, which is why the second challenge is much harder. It’s safe to say that many players won’t finish these quests. Considering that it’s possible to unlock free rewards without them, this shouldn’t be a big problem.
