Epic Games and Sabrina Carpenter have teamed up to bring even more content to Fortnite! The Festival artist will be featured in a new game mode dropping on Friday, May 30. Epic has revealed all the details about the mode, and there is no doubt that it will be perfect for music fans, especially fans of Sabrina.
The upcoming mode brings a new twist to the Festival Main Stage. If you perform well, you will be able to direct the show with special effects, dance moves, and visuals! The best part? Top-performing players in each show will get a picture with Sabrina Carpenter in Fortnite!
New Fortnite game mode features Sabrina Carpenter
The new game mode, Dance With Sabrina, will come to Fortnite on May 30. Once you join the lobby, you will be teleported to Sabrina’s performance and will have to dance to the beat of her songs. At the end of each song, a top-performing player will be chosen to direct parts of the show!
As you match the beat of the songs, you will fill the heart meter. If you finish the song with the most hearts, you’ll get a chance to contribute to the show as the Dance Leader, Special Effects Pro, or Video Artist.
As the Dance Leader, your job will be to use emotes and lead Sabrina’s backup dancers. If you land the role of a Special Effects Pro, you’ll be able to fire off visual effects to make the show much better. Finally, as a Video Artist, you’ll be in charge of the show backdrop. In the end, if you manage to be one of the top-performing players in a match, you’ll get a picture with Sabrina Carpenter!
Epic Games hasn’t clarified whether this will be a limited-time game mode in Fortnite. However, with Festival Season 8 ending on June 16, you will have at least two and a half weeks to try it out.
