The next Fortnite live event is only a few hours away! The event is scheduled to begin at 2 PM Eastern Time, and Epic Games has an important announcement regarding it. If you plan to watch the event, make sure you get on early and reserve a spot for yourself. Events get millions of concurrent players, and the next one will likely follow suit.
Less than four hours before the Fortnite event, Epic posted an important announcement, and we will reveal it here.
Epic Games urges Fortnite players to get on early for the event
Fortnite live events are known for attracting massive crowds. The most popular event had more than 15 million concurrent players, while many of them have had five million or more. Considering that the next event will conclude the current season and the chapter, we expect a few million people to log in once again.
As popular as events are, they sometimes cause server issues. Due to this, Epic Games posted an important announcement. On X (formerly Twitter), the company posted that the live event playlist will be active starting at 1:20 PM Eastern Time, 40 minutes before the start of the event. Furthermore, Battle Royale, Reload, and Save the World modes will be inactive during Remix: The Finale.
The announcement also contains a special message for console players. “Console players – at the end of Remix: The Finale, if you decide to “Keep Dreaming” there may be a slightly lower volume than the rest of the in-game concert event. Turn up that volume dial, this is something you won’t wanna miss,” Epic posted, teasing the end of the event.
The Fortnite event will start at 2 PM Eastern Time, but considering the number of players that will participate, it’s always a good idea to log in at least 30 minutes early. If you’d like more information about the event, it was leaked ahead of its release.
