The next Fortnite event is around the corner! According to the latest leak, Epic Games is working on another storyline event that will come out soon. It should be added with the v31.30 update, which is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, October 1.

Epic seems to be preparing something big for Fortnite players, and here’s everything we know about it so far.

The newest Fortnite leak shows information about the next event

With the current Fortnite season ending in approximately five weeks, it’s no surprise that Epic is preparing its conclusion. The season will have a Fortnitemares event, but also a season-ending event, if the leak turns out to be true. Considering that this is exactly what happened last October, we have no reason to doubt the leak.

This information comes from Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker. The leaker claims that event files will be added with the next update, set to arrive on Tuesday. Its codename is “DeckBed Event” and it has a timer, which will likely be visible in the game. However, Hypex doesn’t currently know what this event will be about, as it may have something to do with Fortnitemares, but it may also be a season-ending event.

The last event Fortnite had was at the end of Season 3. The event caused the destruction of Redline Rig, which resulted in another appearance of Pandora’s Box. Doctor Doom seized the powers of the box, using it to take over the island. The upcoming event will likely be similar, although we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out more details about it.

Last October, Epic released the time machine mini-event, which introduced us to the Fortnite OG Season. Considering that another OG Season begins in early November, this might be the introduction to it.
