Epic Games has announced that two of its most popular series are playing together, as Gears of War has arrived in Fortnite.

From today, players can pick up the Marcus Fenix and Kait Diaz outfits from the battle royale game’s Item Shop. They’ll be part of a package known as the Delta-One set that also includes a bunch of accessories. Namely, a Sonic Resonator Back Bling for Marcus and Reyna’s Pendant Back Bling for Kait Diaz.

There’ll also be some extra Gears-themed accessories. These are the Breaker Mace Pickaxe, the Thumber Pickaxe, the Butcher Cleaver Pickaxe and the Skiff Glider from Gears 5. Players can also pick up a Knife Tricks emote, and a Kait & Marcus Bundle that includes an Emergence Hole spray. As an extra bonus, after playing a match on Xbox Series X|S after buying Marcus, you’ll get an alternative fetching Matte Black Style outfit for him thrown in too.

On top of this, there’ll also be some special Gears-themed Quests to take on in the game. They’ll be available from today until December 17. Completing all of them will get you a lovely Crismon Omen spray. You can find these quests on your Quests page.

It’s quite impressive it’s taken this long for Fortnite to get a Gears of War crossover, given they share a developer in Epic Games. They’ve arrived just as Chapter 3 has kicked off, giving the game a new map, a new engine and more.
