More free rewards have arrived with the latest Fortnite update! Thanks to another Reboot Rally session, you will be able to unlock three new cosmetic items. These items will likely come to the Item Shop at a later date, but this is your only chance to unlock them for free. If you’re interested in expanding your locker, here’s everything you need to know.
How to unlock new free rewards in Fortnite
Reboot Rally is a program that rewards Fortnite players for bringing their friends back to the game. By participating, all players can benefit and unlock new cosmetic items for free. The new round of the program began on Wednesday, September 4, at 9 AM Eastern Time. To participate and unlock free rewards, you simply need to “reboot” your inactive friend and finish daily quests together.
Right now, you can unlock these three items for free:
- Tekk Pack back bling
- Tekk Yellow wrap
- Tekk Hacker pickaxe
You can only reboot players who played two hours or less in the last 30 days.
These items will be available for free until September 24. Considering that you can easily unlock them in a single game, you have plenty of time to do so. Epic Games may release these cosmetics to the Item Shop in the future. However, once this happens, they will not be available for free and will likely cost more around 1,000 V-Bucks.
Keep in mind that both you and the rebooted player will receive the free rewards once you complete all the quests. However, if you don’t have any eligible players for Reboot Rally, you can enter Fortnite bot lobbies with a new account. Doing this, you will be able to complete the quests easily, as you will be playing against weak AI opponents.
