Fortnite Festival has had five successful seasons to date and players are eagerly waiting for the next one to arrive. Each Festival season brings a featured musical artist and a mini-pass for players to buy in exchange for free rewards as they progress in Main, Jam, or Battle Stage levels.
Among the likes of The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Metallica, and Karol G, Epic has started teasing the next featured artist for Festival Season 6 and it’s one of the most beloved rappers that fans have been asking for a long time.
Snoop Dogg Festival collab teased by Fortnite
Fortnite has finally dropped the first teaser for the upcoming Festival season which will bring the Doggfather, Snoop Dogg to Fortnite. The collab will hit on November 2 with Chapter 2 Remix and will add the Snoop Dogg skin, with cosmetic items like his iconic songs as Jam Tracks, back bling, pickaxes, instruments, and much more.
The artist was earlier revealed with the 2024 Roadmap leak which also spilled the tea on major releases that took place this year. Furthermore, it is currently unknown if the skin will bear similarity to his collab in Call of Duty.
Also, since all Festival songs are censored due to an age rating, players are wondering which of Snoop Dogg’s tracks will Fortnite add. However, excited fans turned in their excitement when one user wrote, “Fortnite’s bringing the heat this season—who’s ready to join Snoop Dogg at the festival?”
Some OG players wished for the rare Tidy emote to return back to the shop which features Snoop’s dance moves. However, others thought the collab was bizarre since Snoop’s ties with the marijuana culture might be worrisome in a kids’ game.
But knowing how Epic is quite stringent with age ratings and censorship, they’ll bring the most fun version of Snoop to the game that fans haven’t seen yet.
