PlayStation fans were in for a treat during State of Play, as Sony revealed many exciting things coming to the gaming console. One of these reveals included Fortnite, the most popular battle royale game. It turns out that Sony teamed up with Epic Games to bring a wireless DualSense controller. The controller will be available in limited quantities.

How much will the new Fortnite controller cost

The DualSense wireless controller will be available for pre-order starting Thursday, October 3, Sony revealed. It will launch approximately five weeks later, on November 7. However, the company noted that the exact launch date and availability may vary by region. Due to this, certain markets may have a delayed launch of the product.

The price of the Fortnite controller will be $84.99 in the United States, €84.99 in Europe, £74.99 in the United Kingdom, and ¥12,480 in Japan. Pre-orders will be available through direct.playstation.com. The price in other regions will likely be equal to approximately 85 to 90 US Dollars. You can also get the controller from Amazon.

The pre-orders will be open on October 3 starting at 10 AM Eastern Time in the US. In Europe, the controller will be available for pre-order starting at 10 AM local time in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Besides PlayStation Direct, the Fortnite PS5 controller will also be available through retailers.

It’s important to note that this controller doesn’t come with any Fortnite cosmetic items. Furthermore, Sony hasn’t revealed its exact quantity. Due to this, gamers eager to grab this exclusive DualSense controller should mark their calendars for October 3, as supplies will be limited and demand is sure to be high.
