With the latest release of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, players lament that the Diamond Dealer was nowhere to be seen in the season’s Battle Pass. Despite the lack of the character’s inclusion this time around, some fans are still hopeful that the Dealer “might be November crew”.
Taking to the Fortnite Reddit, user KvasirTheOld noted, “The Diamond Dealer boss looks so cool! It would have fitted better in the BP!” Many were quick to agree with another player adamant that the Diamond Dealer should have been “the secret skin this season”. Despite some players’ disappointment at the lack of the Diamond Dealer’s inclusion, it’s worth noting that there are still plenty of skins on offer with the latest season of Fortnite.
Epic Games has already revealed that eight new skins will be making their way to Fortnite during Season 4, including Ashoka Tano, likely to tie in with the new Disney Plus show Ashoka. Alongside this, popular content creator Khaby Lame also joins the roster, as well as more comical-themed skins like Fish Thicc.
Despite these additions, some fans aren’t too happy with what’s on selection. In support of the Diamond Dealer being a secret skin in Chapter 4 Season 4, one fan noted that in order to please fans, all Epic would have to do is “Don’t make a Khaby skin, put Ashoka in the BP [Battle Pass], Diamon Dealer is the secret skin”.
This is obviously a very simplistic answer for a much more complex conundrum for Epic. Is it worth Epic adding the character in a later season now, or will interest have died down for the character? Will players welcome the Diamond Dealer in a Battle Pass or complain that a different skin didn’t make the cut? It’s not that simple to answer, but maybe Epic Games knows more than we do.
