Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is officially coming to an end as players are all set to dive into the new chapter which will bring a new Japanese-themed island called Oninoshima. The new Chapter 6 Season 1 titled Demon Hunters is already introducing some game-changing features with collabs like Big Hero 6, Godzilla, and more to come.

However, when it comes to gameplay, players are anticipating the arrival of new movement mechanics, Katana,s and much-rumored masks in the game. But when it comes to bosses on the island that players can fight, the upcoming season has a rather different approach towards it.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 will introduce giant bosses on the island

Fortnite has now released an official cinematic trailer, just after a gameplay trailer for the new season was leaked online. In the trailer, players can see the new island and the features Epic is introducing in its full glory.

However, something that really caught the eye of players is giant bosses that they will be able to find during a Battle Royale match and go head to head against them to access mythic loot and some mystical powers.

While the official names of these giants are not yet announced, players saw a giant turtle roaming the Fortnite island, an Oni demon mask floating in a Samurai Arena POI, a giant warrior, and the beast itself, Godzilla walking on the island.

Even though players aren’t clear if defeating these bosses will be a part of in-game quests or if it’s something that can give them a gameplay advantage, many are pleased that boss battles would now be more recurring during Battle Royale matches.

One such player said, “Wait the turtle is a boss too? But I don’t wanna hurt it like look at it, it’s too cute.” Another one wrote, “That Devil and Samurai give us Absolute Japanese vibes!! Good job devs!”

To those unaware, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Demon Hunters arrives on December 1, 2024, and we’ll keep you updated right here once downtime ends and the new season is finally out.
