The return of Fortnite Chapter 2 is upon us! Epic Games will bring back the beloved chapter in a remixed version in early November. This will be another short season that will bring back memories of older seasons. Fortunately, the release date of the next Fortnite season has already been revealed, as well as some of its other details.
In this article, we will take a deeper look at what’s waiting for us in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix.
When does the next Fortnite season come out?
The remixed version of Chapter 2 is scheduled to come out on Saturday, November 2. The release date of the season is currently shown at the bottom of the Battle Pass page in the game. The season should come out at 2 AM Eastern Time, although the game will be unavailable due to server downtime. Considering how big the update will be, we expect downtime to be longer than usual.
It’s important to note that Epic Games could postpone the new season. This happened several times in the past, although none of the recent seasons have been postponed or delayed. Due to this, we expect the next one to come out on time.
Countdown to the next Fortnite season
Chapter 2 OG Battle Pass
The next Fortnite Battle Pass has been partially revealed by Epic Games. As we previously predicted, the Battle Pass will include remixed versions of popular Chapter 2 skins, such as Midas and Skye. According to leakers, the upcoming season will include the first three seasons of the second chapter. Because of this, Epic may not include any remixed versions of skins released in Chapter 2 – Season 4 and later on.
These are the skins that have been revealed so far:
- Midas x Meowscles
- TNTina x Ocean
- 8-Ball x Turk
- Skye x Guff
- Chaos Agent x Toxin
Fortnite live event and map changes
The current Fortnite season will conclude with a massive live event. The event is scheduled to begin approximately six hours before the start and will likely lead us into downtime for the next season. There is a chance that the black hole will appear right after it and will be active for a couple of hours.
The upcoming Fortnite OG Season will bring massive map changes. The entire island will be different, as Epic will bring the Chapter 2 map back to the game. The first week of the season will feature a Chapter 2 – Season 1 map, while the map that was used in Season 2 will last for two weeks. The final map change will occur in its last week and will feature a Season 3 map.
