Fortnite just released the first balance update of Chapter 6 – Season 3, featuring a significant nerf and a buff. The update went live on Thursday night and was automatically applied to the game. Next time you play, you will likely notice changes between a couple of items.
In this article, we will cover all the changes that came with the latest Fortnite update. Besides the changes in the Battle Royale mode, Epic Games also released a significant buff for the C4 in Fortnite OG, increasing its environment damage from 300 to 800.
The latest Fortnite update brought a big nerf and a shotgun buff
Bass Boost is a new item that was released with Chapter 6 – Season 3 on June 7. Despite being available for less than a week, the item was deemed too powerful, which is why the Fortnite developer nerfed it. Now, it deals significantly less damage, has a smaller blast radius, and its energy length was reduced by one second.
