Square Enix has revealed a new survival action shooter game called Left Alive. It’ll be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC in 2018. The trailer reveals a corridor, which is being destroyed as the camera pulls back, before revealing a trail of destruction throughout an unnamed city.
Details for the game are scarce, but the reveal trailer seems to hint at an action game featuring mechs in some fashion. This deep insight is supported by what appears to be a military helicopter that seems to be transporting a mech into a destroyed city or warzone of some sort.
The game is being directed by Toshifumi Nabeshima, who’s previously worked on the Armoured Core series and the excellent Chromehounds at FromSoftware. Metal Gear’s character designer, Yoji Shinkawa, is also working on the game, so it’s safe to say interest in the game is steadily rising, and with those two involved mechanised robots will be making an appearance for sure.
We’ll be sure to share more details as they come to light.
