Football Manager 2017 is free to play all weekend on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux, SEGA has announced.

The free play promo actually began yesterday at 5pm, and you have until Sunday, March 26 at 8pm GMT to shout at virtual footballer blobs.

This isn’t a demo either, with complete, unrestricted access to the game giving players the chance to manage at more than 2,500 clubs.

When the free trial comes to an end you’ll be able to pick up the full game for 50 per cent of the usual asking price – pay only £17.49 – with all your progress carrying forward.
