BREAKING FIFA 23: Out of Position Team 1 – All Players confirmed

We normally see an Out of Position style promo in FIFA, but this year it will be even more interesting with the changes introduced to position modifiers, and the added versatility some players have in the game. The first squad of this promo does not disappoint, with some amazing cards on offer. Take a look for yourself below:

This promo is set to release on the 28th of October. It will be the fourth Promo of FIFA 23. We are still unsure on whether this will be a one, or two week long promo.

What time will Out of Position Team 1 release?

If Out of Positions is the same as the other promos in FIFA 23, then we can expect the new content to release at 6PM BST / 1PM ET / 10AM ET. 6PM BST / 1PM ET / 10AM ET.

It would be very unusual if FIFA 23 does not stick to this schedule, as this is when they always release new content, regardless of what it is.

What is the FIFA 23: Out of Position Team 1 promo?

We do not know an awful lot about this promo so far, however – due to the name of the promo – it is pretty clear that we will be seeing players play in positions you wouldn’t normally find them.

This means strikers in defence, fullbacks on the wing and more. The stats on the card will be changed to reflect their new position, so these cards will be vastly different to the players standard cards. Last year we had a similar promo, but it was much later in the game and it was called Shapeshifters.

FIFA 23: Out of Position Card Design

This is the biggest look we have had so far of the new cards for this promo. It was part of the leak showing off Mohamed Salah receiving a card as part of the promo. We have more leaks of players down below.

The cards, are bright and having one is certainly going to spice up your team. Especially considering how versatile they all are with the position change modifiers.

FIFA 23: Out of Position Team 1 Leaks

Everything from here, down, are our predictions from before the promo released, we were close on this one but there were still a few surprises.

It took a long time for any leaks to come to light for this promo, but when it rains it pours, and now the whole squad has leaked. We don’t know the position changes for every single player, but the ones that we do know look amazing.

This promo will offer a great opportunity to players and their squad building. If there are any gaps in a league, it looks like the Out of Position promo should fix that. Here are the leaked players below:

92 OVR, Mohamed Salah ST/CF/LW (Liverpool) – We should expect this card to be the best, and the most expensive in the upcoming promo. A central Salah is a terrifying prospect for defences.

88 OVR, Reece James RW/RM/ST (Chelsea) – Seeing Reece James on the wing makes for exciting squad building potential. Maybe they will even make him left footed.

86 OVR, Perisic CAM/RW/RM/RB (Tottenham Hotspur) – Spurs’ Perisic has five star weak foot and sort of already play everywhere. This card just means he can play in the players he couldn’t before.

86 OVR, Dominico Berardi, CF (Sassoulo) – Berardi is a winger in game, so it makes sense for this card to be moving him into CF.

86 OVR, Seko Fofana CB/LB/CDM (RC Lens) – Seko Fofana is always a fan favourite on FIFA, he has a great body type and is incredibly imposing. Moving him to CB will make him one of the best defenders in Ligue 1.

83 OVR, Dijbril Sow RB (Eintracht Frankfurt) – Dijbril Sow is a central midfielder, but his position change has moved him into a more defensive position, the face of the card shows him as RB.

90 OVR, Joao Cancelo CM/CDM/RWB (Manchester City) – We have all been thinking for years that Cancelo’s passing is better than most midfielders, so thanks to this promo we can now play him there.

88 OVR, Theo Hernandez LW/LM/RW/ST (A.C. Milan) – Hernandez is already one of the best LBs in FIFA 23, he is terrifyingly quick and can complete dominate his channel. Now he will be able to pose even more of a threat going forward – this card will not be cheap.

85 OVR, Lucas Vazquez CAM (Real Madrid) – In game Vazquez can play pretty much anywhere on the right hand side of the pitch, therefore it makes sense that his leaked card shows he will be playing in midfield.

85 OVR, Denzel Dumfries CB/CDM (Inter Milan) – Dumfries is a big, strong, solid RWB normally, moving him into your defence, or the base of your midfield is likely to improve any defence.

84 OVR, Noussair Mazraoui RM (Bayern Munich) – Mazraoui is a new signing at Bayern Munich, he normally plays at RB. He has been moved onto a wing, in a similar war to Reece James.

84 OVR, Suso CM (Sevilla) – Suso normally plays RW and has done for much of his career. now, because of this card, you can play the Spanish winger in the middle of the park.

87 OVR, Fred CF/LW/LM (Manchester United) – A striker Fred is a great addition to FIFA 23. All too often he is targeted by fans as the problem with the team, as well criticising his finishing, yet now he is likely to a great attacking threat. Freds dribbling is so high this car could be a lot of fun.

FIFA 23 Out of Position Team 1 Objective and SBCs

Every Promo in FIFA 23 comes with a player you can earn via objectives, as well as some players released via SBCs. Leaks are suggesting Chiesa from Juventus will be the SBC for this event.

It looks like the Objective card has been leaked and it is going to be Bayer Leverkusen winger Callum Hudson-Odoi. The man on loan from Chelsea, will be a LWB on his card and we can’t wait to see where else he can play once the cards release on the 28th of October.
