The Flame In The Flood first came out on Xbox One early last year, before making its way to PS4. Now the beautiful and desolate survival game is making its way onto Switch, on October 12, and it has a release date trailer to get you warmed up for it.
The Flame In The Flood puts a twist on the survival mechanic by setting your journey on a wide, treacherous river. Every so often you come across places you can make safe harbour for a bit, but the resources are always limited. You don’t really get the opportunity to build up a safe place to live; instead you have to keep moving.
The Flame In The Flood also has a great soundtrack, composed by Chuck Ragan, and I think it’s a pretty gosh darn good fit for the Switch. It also has a little dog who carries stuff for you, if that helps.
