Bethesda has confirmed details on the latest update for Fallout 76, which comes packaged with a bunch of stability improvements and other bits and bobs to help spruce up the trouble online RPG.

Balance changes are one of the biggest additions, which targets perks and weapons, such as the Demolition Perk now seeing its damage bonus for each rank reduced. In addition, loose weapon and armor mods are given protection from autoscrapping during crafting.

Carry weight has been tweaked too, so that it's now capped at a maximum of 1,500lbs over your character's current max carry weight. Enemy behaviour has been improved, including one fix where enemies would pursue you further than intended and become stuck.

Fallout 76's game client and servers have received a kick up the arse too, which is good news for the overall stability of the game.

Fallout 76 update 1.0.5.9. will clock in at 3.5GB on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and measures 500MB on PC.

There's a huge post-apocalyptic wasteland of patch notes out there, so get stuck in here.
