According to Eurogamer.net, a leading European videogames website, the Sony PSP may not see a European release for a number of months, possibly not until June 2005, at the earliest.

This comes from a source close to Sony, who claims that all of Sony’s internal development teams were all told about the delay in recent meeting. Sony is, as expected, refusing to comment on the situation, but delays to the European launch have been rumoured for a long time. With the North American release on March 24th 2005 many people felt that the European release would be delayed due to stock shortages.

We’ll have more news on the European PSP release date as soon as we hear anything more official.
