Epic Games will “lift the veil” on Fortnite during next month’s Comic-Con, it has revealed.

Design director Cliff Bleszinski, producer Tanya Jessen and lead artist Pete Ellis will all be on hand to show off the closely-guarded project, as the team explores the “inspirations [and] gameplay details” behind the game.

Comic-Con attendees will be the “very first people in the world to see Fortnite in action”, the developer promises.

The reveal is due to take place on Thursday, July 12 at 10:45 PST (18:45 BST).

Fortnite was announced during the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards, where Epic released a teaser trailer. The game is said to be inspired by Minecraft.

A release date and prospective platforms have yet to be announced.
