Codemasters has today announced that Emergency Mayhem has gone gold and will be released across Europe on April 18. The exclusive Wii game sees players taking control of the emergency services and must save the panicking civilians of Crisis City.

Combining driving with arcade mini-games players will have to control the police, fire service and paramedics, dashing around the city from one emergency to another. Players will find themselves throwing bananas at crazed monkeys, using a trampoline to bounce escaping convicts back into custody and herding penguins back to safety.

The game also features multiplayer support, offering mini-game challenges for up to four-players.

Codemasters has also released a new trailer which you’ll find over on the VideoGamer.com video player.
