EA Sports FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup, a free game update for FIFA 14 Ultimate Team, will be released on May 29 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC, EA Sports has announced.

The new FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup will act as a separate mode within FIFA Ultimate Team, giving players the chance to build their own squad of players from all 32 National Teams taking part in the World Cup Finals.

New players can be obtained through the purchase of special packs from the World Cup Store. Each pack will include a free Gold Pack for use in the regular FIFA 14 Ultimate Team mode.

Competing in online and single player tournament modes, players can earn in-game currency which can then be used to acquire packs from the World Cup Store.
