Block building RPG spin-off Dragon Quest Builders 2 is heading to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S next week, according to a Microsoft Store lising that’s appeared over the weekend.

The listing itself (as spotted by Gematsu) says that the Xbox version of the game will come bundled with all the DLC from the original PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch version that launched back in 2019, and the game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass on console to boot.

As a quick refresher, Dragon Quest Builders 2 sees your character wash up on the shores of the deserted Isle of Awakening, there you meet Malroth who themselves has woken up on the same beach with no memory, and together you embark on a quest with your weapons and tools to become a master Builder and literally rebuild the blocky island, and defeat the Children of Hargon.

You’ll have to explore the island and harvest its resources to build structures in the game’s open world that allows you to create structures almost entirely how you want them, in a sort of hybrid of classic Dragon Quest gameplay and Minecraft, but the game also supports multiplayer allowing you to bring three friends along to help explore, design and build your perfect island and defend it from the creatures that inhabit it.

You can check out an overview trailer from the game’s original launch below. Assuming the store listing is correct, Dragon Quest Builders 2 launches for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and will be available via Xbox Game Pass on May 4, 2021.
