Hardcore followers of this particular title, however, still have a few questions about some of the missing features that were present in the original entry. This includes whether or not the Separate Ways side story featuring Ada Wong is included in the game.

If you want to know the availability of this mini story arc within Resident Evil 4 Remake, then we’ve got you covered. Here’s all that you need to know about Separate Ways’ inclusion in Capcom’s revamped entry.

Is Separate Ways in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Sadly, Resident Evil 4 Remake does not have the Separate Ways side story, which means you won’t be able to play through this particular plot arc at the time of writing. However, it could eventually be introduced in a future DLC since Capcom has revealed that they plan on adding more content, such as the popular Mercenaries mode.

It’s also worth noting that the very first iteration of the original Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube did not have this story line included as well. It was only introduced in future ports of the game at the time, like when it was first released on the PlayStation 2.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Separate Ways plot, then allow us to give you a refresher. As mentioned before, instead of playing as Leon, you take the role of Ada Wong all throughout. There were a total of five chapters included within, all of which explains the ties between our heroine and Albert Wesker. It also takes place alongside the main story, so you will get a few glimpses of Leon every now and then.
