Diablo 4’s launch has been shaky – less so in terms of the game not being enjoyable – but rather that the servers have been unable to carry the demand.

A popular error code plaguing gamers on all platforms has been 315306, stating that the game is unable to confirm your account “license.” However – gamers on PS5 have found the daftest work-around.

First spotted on this Reddit thread – /u/-Mez- found that “starting to download one of the PS Plus games of the month off the PS Store let me get in immediately after.” Though unsure that this was actually related, they posted it to Reddit, and lo-and-behold, hundreds of people suffering with the issue on PS5 also gave it a go.

It worked for each and every one of them

Apparently, purchasing anything from the PlayStation Store, or in-game store, fixes the issue, though it seems that Blizzard have been hot on finding a fix for this issue. Their recent hotfix fixed in-game issues, though it seems that more server-related issues will be worked on in the near-future.

Blizzard have commented on the issue – so it’s sure to be resolved soon.

Other fixes have included deleting and re-installing the game, and the classic off-and-on-again solution, though these are seemingly more temperamental than the PlayStation Store fix.

Bearing in mind that this is only the Early Access release date for those with the Special and Ultimate editions – the full game launch on the 6th June is sure to be just as rocky.
